Simon Hardonk – lawyer

Simon has over 20 years of experience as a lawyer and has specialised in corporate law, insolvency law and financing and security law.

As a Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency lawyer, he advises not only companies, but also financial institutions and investors on all legal aspects of turnarounds, restructuring and refinancing transactions.

As an expert in insolvency law, he has been appointed by Dutch courts as receiver in bankruptcies for over 15 years. This experience combined with knowledge gained through an international executive MBA add value when assisting clients in implementing restructuring and refinancing strategies.

As an experienced litigator, Simon has a special focus on governance disputes, including directors' liability, shareholder disputes and insolvency-related matters. Simon is an active deputy judge in the Rotterdam District Court.
